There are two types of application process in Delaware, It is either regular application or scholarship application.

a. Regular Application

Step 1:  Applicants must select an application type process:

  • New Student – application for high school students or students of other university or college.
  • International student – application type for foreign students or students with F1 Visa.
  • Transfer Student – application for transfers from other colleges or universities.
  • Returning Student – application type for former students of Delaware Tech

Step 2: Know the tuition fees. Here are two types of fees for students:

Instate Students

  • $125.75 – credit hour per semester for all courses
  • $1,509.00 – maximum tuition fee

Out-of-State Students;

  • $314.50 – credit hour per semester for all courses
  • $3,774.00 – maximum tuition fee

Step 3: Attend the New Student Orientation (NSO) to learn more about the student life and campus resources.

Step 4:  Request an academic form to get daily updates and additional information about Delaware Tech through email

Step 5:  You have successfully applied to Delaware tech!

b. Scholarship Application

Before applying in a scholarship program, the student must provide a high school diploma and must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to qualify:

Step 1: Provide a federal Personal Identification Number at

Step 2: Apply for Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in the website.

Step 3: Fill out all the information needed.

Step 4: Once completed, a confirmation number will appear in the screen

Step 5: The PIN will be displayed (This PIN is valid for one (1) year)

Step 6: Go to (Department of Education Online application) to complete the request.

Step 7: Select which Delaware campus your information will be sent to .

Step 8: The Student Aid Report (SAR) will be generated once your FAFSA has been completed.

Step 9: View your online SAR at

Step 10: The Expected Family Contribution (EFC) will be displayed in your SAR.

Step 11: Finally, review your SAR for completion.

Step 12: You have successfully applied for a Delaware Tech scholarship and financial aid program!
