Sadly, students who do not meet their requirements need to find other colleges that will accept their application. Here are some of the easiest colleges to get into in the US today. They are colleges considered to have high acceptance rates.

University of Texas-El Paso

UTEP has the highest acceptance rate of 99.8%. The requirements for students to be accepted in UTEP are the following:

  • Application for admission
  • Official SAT, ACT, or ACCUPLACER score report
  • Official high school transcript or International baccalaureate transcript (for students from overseas)
  • GED certificate if the applicant did not graduate from high school.

Kansas State University

This institution has an acceptance rate of 98.9%.  Students must have an ACT score of 21, an SAT (CR + M) score of 980, and a GPA of at least 2.0 or 2.5 for out-of-state students.

Utah State University

This is another one of the easiest colleges to get into with an acceptance rate of 96.9%. For admission, you should have the following:

  • Test scores of 25th / 75th percentile
  • SAT scores of 470/620 for Critical Reading and 490/610 for SAT Math
  • ACT scores should be 20/26 for composite, 20/27 English and 19/26 Math

University of Wyoming

  • A cumulative high school GPA of 3.0
  • ACT score of 21 or an SAT of 980 on math and critical reasoning
  • Complete admission form
  • High School transcript

University of Toledo

This is another public school with a high acceptance rate of 95.7%. This school offers unconditional admission for instate straight-from-High-School students. They just need to complete a college preparatory curriculum course and pass all parts of the Ohio graduation test. They should also have an ACT score of 15 or an SAT of 740 (combined reading and math.) If the SAT scores are inadequate, the student will have to take and pass a placement test.

Wichita State University

This school has an acceptance rate of 93.9%. First time applicants must first fill up and submit an application for admission. A non-refundable application fee of $30 is also required. Students must present transcripts of all high school and/or college work they have accomplished.

South Dakota State University

This University is also one of the easiest colleges to get into. It has an acceptance rate of 92.3%. Requirements for admission are one of the following: ACT composite score of 18 or higher, an SAT of 870 or higher, high school cumulative GPA of 2.6 or higher or ranking in the top 60 percent of the class. They also require students to get at least a C for some core courses.  Basic computer skills are also required for admission.

Western Kentucky University

Because of its 91.7% acceptance rate this university is also one of the easiest colleges to get into. To get in, you need at least have one of the following:

  • ACT composite of 20 or greater, or a 940 SAT in math with critical reading
  • GPA of 2.50 or higher
  • Achieved the required CAI score

They also offer an appropriate academic support program.

St. Cloud State University

This school has an acceptance rate of 89.9%. The student’s academic record for college preparation classes is the most important for admission. A student’s choice curriculum is also a major consideration. ACT or SAT scores are not as important as the academic record but are also considered.

Arizona State University

This school is one of the top ranked research universities with an acceptance rate of 88.9%. They welcome students with diverse academic backgrounds. Applicants should complete the ASU competency requirements. They should also have at least one of these credentials: to be part of the top 25% in high school graduating class, have a GPA of 3.0 in competency courses, have an ACT of 22 for residents and 24 for nonresidents or an SAT reasoning of 1040 or 1110 for nonresident
